Why isn’t anyone acknowledging a minor is filing a protection order against our city council president, Kurt Fankhauser? They would report if any other politician were accused of such a thing. Local sources have posted accusations about other politicians regarding the festival without subsistence proof. Yet local news sources already said they wouldn’t touch him. I tried to send a letter to the editor previously and was told it was defamatory; however, all information was approved to be shared and spoken on at the council presentation.

When I informed Crawford County Now of my concerns about ethics violations by Wavelinc, they explained that they are NOT an investigatory news source per my email chain with Randy Bigley. No report came out about my concerns and subsequent reporting to the city council from CCN. The Telegraph Forum reported but not CCN. Not even a simplified synopsis? Can we see this as an issue if these concerns occur in a public place such as the park, the square, or anywhere Kurt provides “free video footage?” If he does something wrong in a public place, he would have access to the cameras through Wavelinc and, from what I understand, administrative access through the city servers.

Furthermore, we need to ask why they won’t report. Could there be an exchange for services? Theoretically, could WBCO/CCN get free internet and phone to use the radio tower as a signal booster for Wavelinc and have a favorable position on all reported events regarding him and his aligned politicians?
